Frances Cole Altekruse

Frances Cole Altekruse serves as the Workforce Program Manager at the Montana Consortium for Urban Indian Health. Raised on the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservations, her upbringing was deeply influenced by the wisdom of her elders and family. With a rich history in education and community leadership, Frances is dedicated to the development of American Indian communities through educational and employment opportunities.

Residing in Colstrip, MT, Frances is committed to driving positive change across Urban Indian Organizations throughout Montana. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and pets. Her forward-thinking approach and deep cultural understanding make her a valuable asset to our team as we work to empower and uplift Urban Indian Organizations.
